Bio

Lou started his photography career part time in 1980. He has always had a passion for photography and decided to go full time with his wife, Theresa, in 1983. Their first studio was less than 800 sq ft and the business has now grown to a 5200 sq ft full service studio.

His many achievements along the way have included:

Ill Best Black & White print 5 consecutive years
PPA Photographer of the Year National Level 2005

Judged on State and Regional Levels
Print titled “The Holocaust Exhibit” accepted and
displayed at the “Photography Hall of Fame” in
Oklahoma City
Taught numerous workshops for the PPA National
Conventions.

Lou has traveled throughout the United States and Canada, teaching other professional photographers Hollywood style lighting techniques. Most recently he signed a book contract which is now in progress and should be on sale nationally and internationally in approximately a year.
This book will showcase hundreds of portraits created by Lou and how he achieved the look, lighting used, placement,etc.
